A Store from A Cookbook

My husband, Jim and I have boated most of our lives.  We own a Carver and fortunately, we have lived on board for most of the past 12 summers at our home port The Edward Grace Memorial Harbor in Elk Rapids Michigan.

Having been in the food services business most of my life I found it challenging and fun learning how to prepare good food with the limitations of a galley.  I often served other marina staff members and my friends, just because I loved cooking and seemed to make too much food.  

Persistent encouragement from friends & family, led me to write my 1st cookbook, "Recipes from Sandie's Galley", in 2007.  It was designed with simple recipes and it became popular with boaters, so we offered it on a website.  In addition, I became a recipe columnist for a group of newspapers and boater websites.  

In 2008 we began offering Galleyware dinnerware, drinkware, and  flatware.  We continued to grow and now have over 700 products to furnish your boat, RV or nautical home.

In August 2010 my second cookbook "Gone Overboard" was published. This recipe book contains many more recipes, colored photos, more tips, etc.  It was written with the same intent of keeping it simple yet truly delicious.

From Dinnerware to Nautical Decor or even docking needs, we will provide you with products specially designed for life on a boat.  Most of our products are shipped directly from the manufacturer, so we can offer many choices and lower pricing.  We promise to carry only better quality items at the lowest prices possible and give you personalized service.
